Bound volume of notes taken by Ernst von Leutsch at Georg Ludolf Dissen's lectures on the meters of the Greek and Roman poets, in the summer semester 1827, at the university at Göttingen. Following an introduction concerning general matters about meter and the systems used by Gottfried Hermann, August Apel, J.H. Voss, August Boeckh, and Dissen himself (p. 3-17), the remaining lectures appear to fall under thee following major headings: 2. Included are numerous examples of scanned verses, as well as charts representing analyses of meter.
